Summer

You could feel the grass pinching the bare skin on your back.
The rain had just stopped, as the day before. And the day before that.
The smell of fresh grass would surround you, and the water would ruin your clothes in the wet grass.
Minutes passed. Now you could hear them all crawling out of their shelters. The bees, the birds, the beetles. In just minutes, they were at it again.

Because soon, it would rain, as it had, the days before.
