At days (and sometimes nights), myself and countless of others bring people the news. I love every part of working with journalism and photography: the responsibility, trust, pressure, and craftsmanship.

Working with news for nearly 10 years has given me so much insight into the world, and it has opened my eyes more than I ever thought possible. The feeling that you know you are doing what you were put here to do, still makes me speechless.

As I grew older, I have slowly concluded that it is everything around the newsroom, that makes me care so deeply about my craft. I want to see another season, I want to see justice and peace, less suffering and more caring. Surrounded by so much evil, I turn to nature, and she clears my mind for those next steps. So I can keep at my craft without going absolutely mad.

I have a bachelors degree in photographic media. I guess it is a nice way of saying that I think photographers today needs to keep moving. The days where you could stand steadfast on both feet just capturing moments on a single frame is over.

As much as I love the art of photography (yes, I have been postponing my masters for years now), I think that the technology and possibilities we have today can challenge us in ways we are yet to know of. By explaining through sound and moving images we are more equipped than ever to get the message out there. How we use those possibilities is up to us.

That is what I want to bring to you on this site. A small piece of my quietness and comfort. So you too can go out and try to make the world better by telling truthful stories. And maybe some of the things I see can inspire you to be creative and believe in something as well.

Sometimes all you need is to stop running but always keep moving.
